Susie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She  earned her Master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University prior to joining Resource Guidance Counseling. As a member of the staff, Susie works with individuals, couples, and groups. She facilitates two Women's Issues Groups in the Richmond area, in addition to a Group for Children, ages 6 through 9. Specific goals of the children's group include assisting children through adjustment problems, building healthy communication and coping skills, and practicing appropriate socialization with peers.

Susie is committed to maximizing the growth and recovery of every client through appropriate means. She is a strong proponent of healthy self-care and seeks to educate and empower clients to identify and achieve their personal best. Her counseling experience includes a broad range of client needs, including marital conflict, relational issues, communication, depression and anxiety problems, and other life adjustment challenges.
