Licensed Therapist - Rick is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. He earned his Master’s degree and Ph.D. in psychology from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to joining Resource Guidance Counselors, Rick worked as the Director of the Rapha Christian Program at Millwood Hospital. He was also a lead therapist for the Rapid Assessment and Prevention team at Dallas Metro care Services, and has worked in several other private practice settings as well.
Rick also spent 12 years working in the pharmaceutical industry, which gives him a depth of knowledge in psychopharmacology.
Rick works with couples, families, individuals, adolescents and children in helping them heal from the adversities of life. He specializes in premarital and marital counseling, adolescent counseling and working with family systems. He also leads a Thursday evening men’s group for sexual addiction.
