Erica Neiner, Licensed Counselor

Licensed Counselor

"It's a good idea to have someone to talk to, as it is very easy to become overwhelmed in our busy society today."

A native Virginian, Erin grew up in the Richmond metro area. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Erin worked at Resource Guidance Services and also at an alternative school in Richmond to complete her residency requirements for her LPC.

Erin Gwinn
BA, MA, LPC

Now as a Licensed Professional Counselor at CCA Erin works primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults. She practices cognitive-behavioral therapy and behavior modification that is designed to heal the all-important (but often damaged) parent-child relationship, and to develop and foster healthy intra-family communication.

Erin feels blessed to have been faithfully taken to church by her mother. She accepted Christ as her Savior at the tender age of 8, and although she had a few tough years as a teen, she reaffirmed her faith in her late adolescent years, and has since dedicated her life to Christ to be used as the Lord would have her serve Him.
